We are now looking for a Data Engineer to strengthen our team of experienced consultants. At OMATEQ, you will work in dynamic and challenging environments where your expertise meets innovation. You will help our clients design and build scalable data platforms, manage complex data pipelines, and deliver modern solutions that truly make an impact. 

Who Are You?

With 5+ years of professional experience, you bring a strong background in data engineering and the ability to design and deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient data solutions. 

  • Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), delivering scalable and cloud-native data solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of data modeling, data lakes, and data warehouses.
  • Skilled in programming with Python, SQL, or Scala for data processing and automation.
  • Experience with data streaming and modeling tools such as Spark, Kafka, or dbt.
  • Familiar with data governance, quality assurance, and security best practices. Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams (data scientists, analysts, developers). 
  • A friendly mindset and a desire to be in an environment where what matters is how you treat people and what you deliver.
  • Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
